Sally Buchheister is a Grand Prix Dressage rider and FEI Three Star Event Rider based in Southern Maryland. She has earned her U.S. Dressage Federation Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. Sally’s specialty and passion is dressage and she is an active competitor through the Grand Prix level with over 20 years of coaching experience. Sally’s approach is positive and kind and she creates confidence in horses and riders of all ages, levels of skill and disciplines. Continuously refining her techniques from Olympians, Grand Prix competitors, and world renown judges, Sally emphasizes correct basics and tools that lead you to success in casual settings and the show ring.

Sally is the exclusive trainer at Single Arrow Farm and is available for both boarders and for trailer in lessons.

Athena is the owner and operator of Single Arrow Farm and lives on site with her husband Matt, cattle dogs Magni & Modi, 4 horses (Randall, Renaissance, Dominic, Gwen), 2 tiny bunnies, cows and the cutest pygmy goats. She is committed to cultivating an environment that brings peace and joy into the lives of boarding clients and their horses. Athena has had a lifelong love for horses and started riding dressage while living out in Colorado and is in constant pursuit of learning to be the best horseman and rider she can.

Geycer has been working with horses full time since he was 18. He started his career in New York at a large 50 horse operation and most recently worked in Wellington as a professional groom for an Olympic jumper managing countless daily and advanced equine care activities. Geycer lives on site and is full time taking exceptional care of our horses and facility. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his girlfriend Maria.
